Mercury Retrograding til the 29th

The stores will have more people returning Christmas presents, and the blizzard on the east coast of the U.S. will see people making more changes in plans than they projected.  Good ol' Mercury retrograding around Christmas time causes lots of problems......presents will have to go back, and people stranded far from home or can't get away from home.  Fortunately, it goes direct on the 29th, which will be good for the New Year.....

It seems DE Dave Tollefson for the New York Giants was hurt in the game last week and if that wasn't enough, his mom came down to the clubhouse and read him the riot act and told him to get back in the game.  Tollefson was born July 10 1982 in Walnut Creek, California.  While he has a soft Pisces Moon which should denote mom; his Cancerian sun, which  also would have a tie to mom being the quintessential  maternal sign, finds it squared to Saturn conjunct Mars in Libra, in his solar 4th - Mom - house with Pluto not far away.  Saturn/Mars combo can be militaristic, and no nonsense. Then Pluto is 7 degrees away adding  the desire to dominate and control.  Saturn rules bones and Mars rules muscle, and Mars being in the solar 4th house, it's a natural placement for an athlete.  Even tho we don't have his time of birth, we sometimes forget how much information the solar chart has.   In this case, it does show how this incident in the locker room while he was hurt could have taken place with such a combo in the 4th house.

Be Careful Out There! Mars and Pluto still in Effect

Even tho Mars and Pluto are passed the conjunction, they are still operating, what with the eclipse on the 4th being at their midpoint.  I had a handyman come to fix something in the house, He was very nice, pleasant, good sense of humor, left me his card.  I thot maybe he'd like to pick up some extra work cleaning the gutters etc., but then realized M/P was still in effect and Mars can be young man and Pluto can be underworld or nefarious character, so he was a little too nice, so decided to drop it.....people who come in to our lives during a M/P can turn out to be bad news.  

30 years ago my stepfather was beaten up in a bar and had brain damage and there was this kid working at the convalescent home that we hired to live with him on his dismissal. We found out later he pushed the wheel chair too fast and broke my step/f's  ankle so they'd be at the hospital so his buddy could steal the tv.  And then somehow a second tv was stolen.  Come to find out he had taken advantage of elderly people and was jailed, and the judge had him assigned to the convalescent hosp to learn empathy....and somehow they felt they couldn't inform us or get into trouble....and I met him on a M/P aspect. 

So, be aware of who you've met during December and into January with the eclipse midpointing on M/P. 

Solar Eclipse on January 4, 2011

We usually have 2 solar eclipses a year....they show what is happening on the 'front burner' of our lives for the next six months.  When the sun squares it, 90 days later, we see the results of what was set in motion.  For 2011 tho, there are 3 eclipses; one sneaking in on January 4th.

It has the potential for good and bad.

Jupiter conjuncts Uranus for the 3rd time at the end of Pisces on that date.  Jupiter is good luck and fortune and Uranus is something sudden you hadn't anticipated....together they can initiate a spot of good luck. Venus, the planet of love and attraction, is also trining this duo, so it increases its largesse.

On the other hand, the eclipse is at the midpoint between Mars and Pluto, and Saturn is squaring it.  That doesn't sound good.  Mars is anger/aggressive/cars/ muscles/surgery and Saturn is the judge, authority figure brooking no nonsense, and Pluto is domination and power/underworld figures.  Looks like a "Perfect Storm" is beginning to build.

We will see the results of this eclipse on or about April 4th.

Mercury & Mars to conjunct Pluto in Cap on Monday

Hold on to your hats!  Mercury (communication) and Mars (assertive, aggressive energy) will meet up with Pluto in Capricorn on Monday the 13th.  We're seeing it now as it builds, with Congress hopping mad about the power and politics being batted about, the protests in England about raising tuition on the colleges by 3 times....and personally, like Lawrence O'Donnell (Scorpio) attacking Alan Grayson on his MSNBC show last night.  Tempers are high. Mars is anger that's triggered suddenly then abates, but is intense when it connects with Pluto every two + years.  So irritated, combustible communication to manipulate and control.  Try not to confront anyone til later on next week.  Your holidays will be happier!

Uranus the Exposer, moving in to Confront Pluto the Hider

When Uranus and Pluto conjuncted in Virgo in 1966, we had the Pentagon Papers, where power and politics were exposed.  Uranus is Aquarian energy....it's the Hippie of the zodiac....it wants to burst the bubble on pomposity of those who would wheel and deal in secret.

Now that Uranus is moving in to square Pluto in 2012, its first big aspect since then, we are feeling it once again, in the Wikileaks release of hundreds of thousands of papers revealing what those in power really feel about the world. Scorpio Hillary Clinton decries the event, because Pluto rules Scorpio and they want to dominate and control, and they do it behind the scenes and in covert ways most times.  While it can all be on the level; they don't want to have it released to the world.

Julian Assange, the one who they say is responsible for the release, was born on July 3rd, 1971, in Townsville, Australia.  He currently has Uranus (sudden changes)  trining (best possible alignment)  Jupiter (politics) and opposing his Pluto (power and dominion). It would be interesting to know his time of birth.  But it does show that Assange, born one day before the U.S., (July 4th of course) has a strong Uranus bent to expose and reveal what had been hidden.  It looks like June of 2011 will not be lucky for him.

Those in power need to control by knowing what's going on yet keeping it to themselves. They always want you to tell the truth, because they can't control if they don't know what's going on....yet you'll know little about them.  A man told me father in 1948, "the biggest thing you have about yourself is mystery" - he probably was a Scorpio.  I taught my kids to tell the truth; that it would go better for them if they were up front with me, and I honored that.  In real life, though, those in authority will use honesty against you, and I have rued the day I taught them that.  If I were to do it again, I probably would have explained that being truthful works with me, but be careful out there.....it can come back to bite you in the butt.
