Happy New Year!

Venus inconjuncts Mars this week on the 6th, 21 Aquarius to Virgo. A light little change in a new direction. Mars is starting to slow down and will go retrograde on the 23rd at 23 Virgo, close to inconjuncting Saturn at the time.  Those two can get mean, and while not a tough aspect, be aware of critical , cryptic remarks.

Political Insights:
Michele Bachmann - There's potential for a surprise for Michele Bachman.  Mercury sextiles the moon on the first, and trines Jupiter (politics) on the 2nd.  It inconjuncts Mars on the 4th and trines Pluto on the 5th, and then inconjuncts Uranus on the 6th.  A flurry of words flow, for and against, with a surprise by the end of the week. .
Newt Gingrich - Venus trines Saturn on the 3rd, giving him some hope, but by te 4th Mercury opposes his sun, some news that's not in his interest, and the sun squares Mars on the 5th.....he can get pugnacious over something.
Jon Huntsman - Nothing untoward on his aspects for the week. Sun sextiles Mercury, venus opposes Uranus and the Sun sextiles Venus on the 3rd, while Mercury sextiles Mars on the 4th and squares the moon on the 5th.  On the larger plance, Pluto is squaring his sun which indicates a 'growing' period where he's tested.
Ron Paul - The week starts stressful, but there could be good news by the end of the week with Mercury trining his sun, and the Sun sextiling his Jupiter. .
Rick Perry - Uranus squares Uranus on the 5th, and even tho Venus conjuncts Jupiter and Sun trines Saturn on the 6th, opening up opportunities, the Uranus square to itself can suddenly send him in a new direction. .
Mitt Romney - Some not so good news on the 1st as Mercury squares his sun, but Venus trines Uranus on the 3rd which gives him the best aspect during the Iowa caucus. Mars opposes the sun on the 5th tho, so his feathers can get ruffled. .
Rick Santorum - The week starts off with potential, but there's a stress aspect between Venus and his sun on the 5th.
President Obama - Uranus sextiles Jupiter on the 1st, sure to give him a boost.  Venus goes into the first house on the 4th for the month's duration, highlighting his best qualities for the month, and starts with mercury trining Uranus on the 4th with a bunch of good news.
United States' chart - Pluto is still opposing Jupiter (politics) altho it's on it's way out, and still stirring up the political scene and the religious aspect.  Uranus is starting to move in and take center stage.
