Week of Jan 29th - Feb 5th 2012 - Reality and Unreality Clash

Neptune goes into Pisces on February 3rd, 'for the duration' now.  It entered Pisces, retrograded, now it goes forward and will stay in the sign til 2025.  Neptune in Pisces, in its own sign, is like coming home after 154-7 years.  Time to relax, time to luxuriate in its own energy....but will it be too psychic, too sensitive, too much of a mirage?  


Then, on February 7th, Saturn goes retrograde at 29 Libra, so we slam on the brakes of that lovely dream we've been having, and taste a touch of reality once again.  Saturn is 'almost in Scorpio' so they are in trine to each other which is good.....it'll be less of a 'rude awakening' than normally when these two aspect each other. 


There's a full moon on Feb 7th too, and then Venus goes into Aries; many shifts of energy this week. 


Newt Gingrich has a mixed bag on the 31st of the Florida primary.   Mercury opposes Pluto, but trines Uranus, so while there can be some last minute 'dirty' tricks, it may work out for him.  February 5th, Venus trines Jupiter so something nice should occur.....and as the week ends and the new one dawns, the Sun and Mercury conjunct and trine his Saturn, so 'authority approves' in some way.  If the 2:00 a.m. birth time is right or close, then Jupiter is in his first house til summer, so make hay while the sun shines. 


Mitt Romney finds Jupiter squaring Saturn on the 29th, he wants to move out and embrace more of life, yet there are some fears and limitation which may keep him from going all the way.   Venus conjuncts his sun on the 31st, so he should have good news from the primary. Then on the 6th, Venus trines Jupiter and the moon, and then the sun trines Uranus on the 7th and Mercury follows suit, so a flurry of activity where all the tumblers seem to fall into place....and then Saturn sequiquadrates Mercury on the 7t as it goes retrograde, so a comeuppance is possible. ....a testy exchange is looming on the 10th. 


President Barack Obama  finds Uranus squaring his Venus on the 31st.  Venus is 'him' in the chart, so a new idea takes him in a new direction....when Saturn goes retrograde on the 7th, it will square his Jupiter, so his desires to expand and grow can be rained on.  Saturn squaring a planet is sobering enough but when it's on the retrograde or direct motion shift it's more intense.  Mars goes into the 7th house on the 5th....he and Michelle may have an argument or two as it moves thru the house.  The Sun and Mercury conjunct the first house on the 7th, time for his light to shine. 


The United States' chart finds Saturn squaring Pluto on the 7th as it goes retrograde....bullies and judgers feel empowered. This is the time of the year when the sun goes thru the 10th house, beginning on the 2nd, and this year Mercury follows on the 4th.  Mercury trines Uranus on the 2nd, so some good news, but Mars conjuncts Neptune on the 3rd, so something that seemed a sure thing, isn't.
