Week of February 5th - 11, 2012

Saturn slows down to retrograde on the 7th; reality sets in.  While it does so, we have a full moon, Leo to Aquarius and Venus enters Aries.  Since it moves in to conjunct with Uranus on the 9th, it will provide a nice surprise out of the blue, and as it does so, it quincunx's Jupiter in early degrees of Taurus on the 11th, so a nice opportunity can present itself. It's a protection, anyway.

Mercury trines the retrograding Saturn on the 13th, so words can set boundaries but still be affirming. Then Mercury goes into Pisces in the evening of the 13th and right away conjuncts Neptune, a really gauzy time where words can be misinterpreted.  Not a good time for signing contracts!

Newt Gingrich hangs on, and the sun and Mercury trine Saturn so he could get a nice endorsement to counteract Donald Trumps' endorsement of Romney on the 6th.  Yet Venus moves in to oppose Neptune and sextile Mercury on the 7th and 10th respectively, so another gaffe is possible.  Good news comes on the 11th, but Saturn going retrograde in the sky in Libra, if his 2 am rising speculation is near accurate will be in the 7th house of mate, so there might be an issue with Callista.

Mitt Romney has good news on the 6th, as Venus trines Jupiter, and Jupiter ruling politics, he can be the fair haired boy. Then on the 7th, Sun and Mercury conjuncting in the sky trines his Uranus so some sudden shift and good news is imminent.  Then on the 10th, Mars opposes his sun so he could be impetuous in his choice of words. With Saturn going retrograde in Libra on the 7th, in his 6th house of work, there might be some dissension in the ranks.

President Barack Obama finds Mars entering his 7th house of mate on the 5th, so it may be a little testy in the Obama household this month.  Mercury enters his first house along with the sun on the 7th, so he will shine during the month of his rising sign.  As Saturn goes retrograde it squares his jupiter, so the luck that rides on his shoulder may hide behind a cloud this month. On the 10th Venus trines Mercury, perhaps a good speech is delivered, but on the 11th, Mercury opposes Uranus and a gaffe or miscue could occur.  by the following week though, Uranus trines Mercury on the 13th.....Brilliant ideas are popping up right and left.  That happens back and forth this year. It's always a good time to keep a micro recorder nearby at all times to record the ideas that come forth now.

The United States finds Saturn squaring Pluto on the 7th....as it goes retrograde....bullies and authority types making themselves heard. Mars goes into the 4th house of home, roots and foundation on the 10th and then squares its natal position on the 11th....combined with Saturn/Pluto lurking in the sky it can trigger something....perhaps literally.
