Judy Greer, who typically plays the heroine's gal pal, was starring tonight on the red carpet prior to the Academy Awards. Judy, who's in "The Descandants" wore a black and gold gown that should be named best dressed of the awards.
Judy, who was born July 20, 1975 in Detroit Michigan, is a Cancerian gal on the cusp of Leo. Oddly, you would think the Leo energy would pick such a great dress, but unless she was born with Leo rising, she has no Leo in her chart. The Sun sextiles Pluto, 9 Pisces to Cap.....the gossamer Pisces energy encourages Pluto in Cap to loosen up a bit and not be soooo stodgy.
Mercury enters Aries on March 2nd, and we start pulling out of the mirage of Pisces one planet at a time. On the 3rd and 4th, the Sun opposes Mars, 13 Pisces to Virgo, and Venus opposes Saturn, 28 Aries to Libra, so we're more inclined to express our judgments precipitously......and have to undo the damage later. Mike Rowe - Great Addition to "Last man Standing"
When Tim Allen starred in "Tool Time", somehow it never crossed anyone's mind to cast Mike Rowe as one of his brothers. Rowe's face has been on tv , from "Dirty Jobs" to "Deadliest Catch" and a few dozen Tylenol commercials. ...Lately he's seen selling Fords. But, no one thought to cast him then. Sometimes it takes planets falling into place with natal planets.
Rowe was born on March 18, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, and now that Uranus has been flirting with the end of Pisces and now is in Aries, and moving in on his Aries Venus at 9 degrees, big time success has finally arrived. Uranus went over his Pisces sun a few years ago, setting the stage, and now opportunities abound.
On Feb 21st, Rowe debuted on Tim Allen's show, "Last Man Standing" as his brother, and stole the show. Week of February 19th - 26th, 2012
2/20/12: There's a new moon this week at 2 of Pisces. We focus on the spiritual, are more inclined to music and maybe snuggling down and watching tv and letting the world go by. It's a time to recharge our batteries and get ready for the 'new year' when the sun moves into Aries next month.
Sunday the Sun moved in on Neptune at 0 of Pisces.....it was a gossamer day, full of dreams and fantasy and worked well if you indulged in creative visualization....if you tried to stay in the workaday world, you might have had issues.
The new moon in on the 21st, right smack dab between Neptune and Chiron. There's going to be a lot of spin, sabotage, and just plain lying out there on the airwaves mostly against the president. With Venus and Mercury challenging Mars on the 22nd-23rd, an inconjunct and opposition.....a little reality and in your face, after a nice dreamy period.
At the end of the week, Sun conjuncts Chiron, reminding you of your wounding and then moves between the trine of Pluto in Cap and Jupiter in Taurus......giving us a glimpse of what can be in store in mid March when we get a nice grand trine in earth.
This week, Mitt Romney can come on strong with 'tough talk, with Mercury inconjuncting Pluto and conjuncting his natal Mercury on the 20th-21st, while the sun inconjuncts his Saturn on the 21st as well. But then there's a flurry of activity in midweek with Uranus, as Mars squares it, Venus sextiles and mercury squares from the other side, creating a T square. Things go from control to unsettled, fast. By the end of the week, anger surfaces as the Sun conjuncts his Mars while Jupiter sextiles it. this is the 12th house for Mitt on a solar chart, so it's a time of repose and getting ready for his new year, with a birthday on March 12th.
Lots of squares in New Gingrich's chart this week. Mercury squares Moon on the 20th, maybe a statement irritates women. Sun squares Mercury on the 21st, a clash of ideas. Jupiter squares Pluto on the 22nd which has been fueling his grandiose ideas of being president and now peaks, while Mercury and Mars squares his Saturn on the 23rd from opposite ends, creating a T square, so some angry retort coming from an authoritarian base. then the Sun squares his Uranus on the 25th....breaking free from that structure. Doesn't look like a good week.

Whitney Houston Leaves Us....
HitFix was the first to break the news that Whitney Houston had died....then my email was inundated with others just tumbling in, one after the other. Such a beautiful voice, such a beautiful soul. But a soul that was hurt by alcohol and drugs.
Whitney was born on August 9, 1963, at 8:55 pm EDT, in Newark New Jersey. She was a Leo, with an Aries Moon and Pisces rising.....with Chiron on the ascendant. ...She was destined to be a wounded healer, but didn't live to attain it. Chiron is the wound, and in the first, it applies to Self, and when we have healed our own wound to a certain point, we can then go out and help others, knowing it personally.
Leo and Aries are strong, and so we saw her as this larger than life personality, who loved to sing, and loved the bounty that went with her stardom. Yet Pisces was rising, and Chiron conjuncted it, so there was a soft soul there, who got hurt easily, and people probably didn't see it. Pisces is a water sign, of course, and finds this material world hard to deal with at times, so alcohol and drugs are a natural draw.
Chiron was moving in to return to it's natal position in a couple of years....the Chiron return, where we address those issues of the wound. Most of us get thru it and keep on going. Chiron in Pisces can indicate a wound and depression, a fear of being ridiculed or which makes the sensitivity more acute.
In the Chinese chart, she was born in the year of the Cat/Rabbit, the month of the Dragon, the Hour of the Dog, and the minute of the Cat/Rabbit. The Cat is high strung, and combined with the Dragon, can be obsessive. Cats often have neuroses. The Dragon loves the limelight and enjoys all the trappings of success. The Dog energy tends to have intimacy issues, and not thrilled with sex for most Dog women, altho it can also go the opposite way sometimes.
So Chiron is in the Dog section of the chart, which would relate to circulation and the pericardium that protects the heart, and Saturn is in the Heart section of the chart.....normally not a problem, except if the heart had been stressed for too long. I muscle test voices, and I picked up on heart issues. It'll be interesting to see what they find was the cause of death.

Week of February 11th - 19th, 2012
It's a relatively quiet week in the sky....but it depends on what planets are being energized in your chart how it will go. Mercury enters Pisces on Feb 13th, and the Sun follows on Feb 18th. Pisces is full of of dreams and fantasy, and then just as it gets into Pisces, Mercury conjuncts Neptune on the 13th as well, so we're in a double dreamy state, and things may not be what they seem. Not good to sign contracts around now.
However spiritual Neptune is in its highest expression, in this mundane world it can be a real 'spin doctor' and tell you what you want to hear. Then Mercury conjuncts Chiron which is right nearby, maybe somebody says something that pushes your button from the past. On the 16th Mercury sextiles Jupiter and then sextiles Pluto on the 18th....we're building to a nice grand trine in March with these two as part of the package, so this can be a hint of what's to come......someone says something, perhaps, that causes you to make moves that will materialize in March. The sun trines Saturn 29 Aquarius to Libra on the 18th....someone in authority smiles and agrees.

Uranus trines Mercury on the 13th....this is a transit that is powerful in opening up the mundane Mercury to the higher vibrations of Uranus. Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, and comes up with unique, inventive ideas....combined with Mercury new ways of making things work just pop up...good time to have a voice recorder handy...and keep it by the bed for those dreams. Many inventions are triggered by dreams. The sun opposes Uranus on the 14th as it does every Valentine's, maybe something pops up so Valentine's has to be put off til later. But Mercury trines Venus, so he'll send some words of Love to Michelle. Mid week is a bit dicey, but by the end of the week, Venus trines the sun, so all is well. Next to Gingrich, the grand trine in March will be best, and very beneficial for the president.

Karen Handel Resigns from Susan G Komen as Saturn retrogrades
Karen Handel, who seemed to be the force behind the Susan G. Komen Foundation to defund Planned Parenthood, has just stepped down amidst pressure.....Ahhh! Pressure and Saturn are synonymous . And Karen, born April 18, 1962 in Washington DC has Saturn triggering a number of planets as it goes retrograde.
It is opposing the Sun and Mercury, and inconjuncting Mars. Saturn opposing the sun is authority judging and criticizing and calling people to task for their actions. Chiron is also moving in to its Chiron return when she hits 50, so a wounding of the past is coming up for review and Saturn is helping to trigger it.
She was born in the Year of the Tiger, which is all about pride, and that's where Mars is in her chart in the Chinese overlay, and since Mars is her ruling planet, being an Aries, her wings got clipped. An inconjunct tends to be a 'chiropractic crunch' to get you back on the right track.

Sad to be Pete Hoekstra when Saturn is about to retrograde
Pete Hoekstra, seeking to unseat Sen. Debbie Stabenow in Michigan in 2012, approved of an ad shown during the Super Bowl in the state, with a Chinese girl, speaking in pigeon English, chastising the U.S. and Sen Stabenow for spending so much money that, they, the Chinese, have to bail us out, and take our jobs.
Hoekstra created a fire storm on all the networks over this but he's standing by it. Not good to be born on Oct 30, 1953 in the Netherlands, when Saturn is about to conjunct its natal position for the second time in his life. His natal Saturn is actually 0 of Scorpio, which Saturn will hit next fall, but Saturn, retrograding tomorrow morning is at 29 degrees, and that's close enough for the dragon to give a lash of his tail, the first, if not the last.
Saturn judges, Saturn criticizes, Saturn causes us to re evaluate who we are. And Saturn came down like a sledge hammer today on this ad. One wonders if the backlash would have been so bad if Saturn wasn't so close to his natal Saturn at the time of retrograde.
Saturn takes 29+ years to go around the zodiac. When you're 29 you expected to have manifested your career, your home and family, to be an established person. So if you're not, and a lot of us aren't, we make a vow that we will do it NOW and set about to manifest what we want in our life. When it comes around again, close to 60, your whole life isn't in front of you anymore, and there are still things you want to accomplish in this lifetime, so you create your Bucket List to accomplish it.

Get Your thick skin on - Saturn's going retrograde!
Saturn in Libra goes retrograde on the 7th.....and it's not happy now. I was thinking I had no particularly stressful transits, and yet today I had a nasty evaluation on my class page. Where's that coming from.....not in my chart, but as Saturn slows down to retrograde it has to make it's energy felt. I was grateful that's 'all' it was. It was just one person's personal preferences and I didn't meet them.....hard for a Virgo, tho, that wants to please everyone.
Then I read where basketball player Karl Malone was criticizing the Utah Jazz management for things he didn't like, and then owner Greg Miller took to his own blog to rip into Karl.....ah! Saturn at work!
So, put on your thick skin people til the end of this coming week! You'll be glad you did!....and to those who dispense Saturnian crotchityness......go into neutral, and keep your mouth shut til this period is over, so you won't have to mend fences later! You'll be glad you did, too!

Week of February 5th - 11, 2012
Saturn slows down to retrograde on the 7th; reality sets in. While it does so, we have a full moon, Leo to Aquarius and Venus enters Aries. Since it moves in to conjunct with Uranus on the 9th, it will provide a nice surprise out of the blue, and as it does so, it quincunx's Jupiter in early degrees of Taurus on the 11th, so a nice opportunity can present itself. It's a protection, anyway.
Mercury trines the retrograding Saturn on the 13th, so words can set boundaries but still be affirming. Then Mercury goes into Pisces in the evening of the 13th and right away conjuncts Neptune, a really gauzy time where words can be misinterpreted. Not a good time for signing contracts!
Newt Gingrich hangs on, and the sun and Mercury trine Saturn so he could get a nice endorsement to counteract Donald Trumps' endorsement of Romney on the 6th. Yet Venus moves in to oppose Neptune and sextile Mercury on the 7th and 10th respectively, so another gaffe is possible. Good news comes on the 11th, but Saturn going retrograde in the sky in Libra, if his 2 am rising speculation is near accurate will be in the 7th house of mate, so there might be an issue with Callista.
Mitt Romney has good news on the 6th, as Venus trines Jupiter, and Jupiter ruling politics, he can be the fair haired boy. Then on the 7th, Sun and Mercury conjuncting in the sky trines his Uranus so some sudden shift and good news is imminent. Then on the 10th, Mars opposes his sun so he could be impetuous in his choice of words. With Saturn going retrograde in Libra on the 7th, in his 6th house of work, there might be some dissension in the ranks.
President Barack Obama finds Mars entering his 7th house of mate on the 5th, so it may be a little testy in the Obama household this month. Mercury enters his first house along with the sun on the 7th, so he will shine during the month of his rising sign. As Saturn goes retrograde it squares his jupiter, so the luck that rides on his shoulder may hide behind a cloud this month. On the 10th Venus trines Mercury, perhaps a good speech is delivered, but on the 11th, Mercury opposes Uranus and a gaffe or miscue could occur. by the following week though, Uranus trines Mercury on the 13th.....Brilliant ideas are popping up right and left. That happens back and forth this year. It's always a good time to keep a micro recorder nearby at all times to record the ideas that come forth now.
